Most of my friends from the creative industry love to visit stores that they can find useful and cute craft items for home decoration and art supply. I also obsessed with different artsy stickers and postcards for my personal art collection. It is good that Cebu has lots of creative people who contributed some inspirational artworks that can give statements and visuals for the local market.

I only see those local artsy artworks for sale every local event in Cebu, mostly in bazaars, festivals, and cosplay conventions. It is hard to see it available in ordinary days or find the online stores for each local artist and merchant to purchase their products.

Good to know that there’s the newest store in Cebu that you can purchase artsy crafts from local creatives in Cebu or some parts of the Philippines. So I found Craft Story Cebu in Crossroads Mall, Banilad, Cebu City.

So I visited the newly open Craft Story Cebu last April 12, 2019, by personal invite from Clover Creatives PR & Events, and it was good to see familiar faces on that day. I hesitated to take photos and see some of the products in the store, so I grabbed the chance to see it one-by-one and pick the finest artsy products there. So I found the best artsy products there and I want to explain to you each of the products that I caught my attention.

I followed Happy Garaje’s Instagram page and I got inspired on their artworks. Most of their artworks are into the characters that visualized emotions and popular for putting red circles on the character’s cheek area. You can purchase their artsy postcards, stickers, and wooden figures.

Wooden Clothespins

Using wooden clothespins for crafty wall decor is very popular on Pinterest and Instagram feed. You can play around it by hanging some printed photos or Instax photos on the wall. You can also use clothespins for your board planner as an option for pinning a board notes.
